Alyssa and Brandon

Sometimes the way Alyssa and Brandon looked at each other made me stop and smile from ear to ear, because it is so heartwarming to see two people look at each other like they are so lucky to have found each other. The two will be getting married in May and I'm super excited to shoot their wedding and see more small glances that are so quiet but at the same time so overwhelmingly loud.

Hawaii

When we were kids, my cousins, my siblings, and I would spend almost every day of the summer playing together. Basketball on the neighbour's driveway. Soccer on the patch of grass in front of our house. Jumping through sprinklers. Riding our bikes in the neighbourhood. We even made up a club where all we would do was sit in a tree and talk. Just picture a minimum of six kids sitting in a tree. Going to Hawaii felt like an extension of us being kids. Boys shared one room, girls were in the other. Every day we'd meet up and do something, just us kids. We might not be that young anymore, but boy do we still know how to have fun.

M.I.A

I've been lacking on the blogging front the past month. My focus has been more on working hard at killing it in my finance class and doing shoots that cannot be posted. That's all going to change in about a week, though; tomorrow I am flying out with my family to Hawaii to celebrate my cousin's wedding and have the first February vacation ever. I'm so excited to leave and be able to take pictures of beautiful things, it feels like Christmas Eve right now. Good things are coming up. I just need to learn some patience.

Tyler

Tyler grew a magnificent moustache for Movember, and we thought there was no better way to commemorate it than to take really serious editorial pictures. This is honestly one of my favourite shoots to do because it gives me a chance to flex my creative muscle and do a different style of shoot but at the same time, we're taking pictures in the Devonian Gardens sneaking sips of whisky and hiding in plants.
